Values

We have some core values which help shape and guide us. We are a community of freedom, worshipping God in spirit and truth.
Community
We believe we were created by God to live in deep relationship with each other, sharing our very selves – who we are, what we have and what we need. Rejecting self‑sufficiency, we value authenticity and strive for intimacy, gathering regularly to encourage and challenge one another as we live together. As a community, we seek to live lives of authenticity.
(Acts 2; Ephesians 4; Hebrews 10)
Freedom
We believe that Jesus set us free by his incarnation, death and resurrection. In community, we extend his selfless love, grace and peace. It is in this freedom that we confess our sins to each other and hold each other accountable in love. We are addicted to forgiving each other. As a community, we seek to live lives of love, grace and peace.
(Galatians 5;1 John)
Worship
We live to ascribe worth to God. As “imagers” of God – the body of Christ and the temple of the Spirit – we are his presence here on earth. We will share the transforming message of Jesus, release the poor, and bring hope to the oppressed. In awe of God, we will humble ourselves and serve him by serving others. As a community, we seek to live lives of servanthood and sacrifice.
(Romans 12; Luke 4)
Spirit
We believe that we are a new creation, being made whole by the Spirit of God. His power within us heals and restores our brokenness, and his gifts prepare us for service. The fruit of the Spirit will be evident as he leads us to be more like Jesus. As a community, we seek to live Spirit‑led lives.
(2 Corinthians 5; Galatians 5)
Truth
We affirm that God has revealed himself in “Word” through Christ and the Scriptures. We want to know Jesus, and believe by faith that he is the truth and the world’s true Lord. We will follow him as our King and discover truth together, bringing light to the world. As a community, we seek to live lives of faith.
(John 1,14; 2 Timothy 3; Hebrews 4)
